3/13/2023 0 Comments Rrootage reloaded![]() I've played with this one for a while and i really loved the way that dog does its things. No joke, folks, i couldn't help but get that game, seeing that Hina looks adorable and cute. Pixel Game Maker Series Shiba Mekuri (Switch Download): In the latest of the Pixel Game Maker series of games, this one really has peeked my curiosity, mostly at the fact that it's a puzzle game that involves flipping panels (placed in a clever way, mind you) that eventually unlocks videos of a race of dog, that of a two month old Shiba Inu race named Hina that was adopted by a japanese family on January 23rd of this year. 4 game modes and 160 levels are what i'll be tackling with on this one, folks. RRootage Reloaded (Switch Download): Another bullet hell game, though this one is mostly a remastered version of the original rRootage game by Kenta Cho, all to adapt to the characteristics of the Switch itself (meaning 60 FPS, weak consumption of energy, HD graphics and multiple game control methods). Now, with the Arcade Archives version of Mappy, i've regained an interest on playing this classic, so there's nothing much to explain about it really. I once downloaded that one in the Wii U's Wii Mode in the Virtual Console Arcade category of games before, though i had then lost interest on playing it after a while. I'll be sure to check more into that one, just to see how well Sparky will fare in his bounty missions.Īrcade Archives: Mappy (Arcade, 1983): Ahhh yes, Mappy, another one of Namco's greatest and well known arcade classics. FreakZone Games, the same company that helped with ScreenWave Media in making the AVGN video game is involved in that one, along with the company that brought us Blade Strangers, meaning Nicalis. ![]() Spectacular Sparky (Switch Download): This is the one game that i've pre-downloaded last week, as this game pays tribute to the platforming genre of the 1990s with a sarcastic yet crazy bounty hunter named Sparky who goes on missions to shoot anything that moves in his sights. and one game that is all about a lovely puppy that i couldn't resist getting. The company does not have plans to reintroduce the iPod classic due to a shrinking audience and the engineering costs that would be needed for a new version. For this week's downloads, i've pre-downloaded one game last week, while Namco brings us another one of its classics to the Arcade Archives, one shooter is among them. With the iPhone making the move to 128 GB and the iPod touch potentially following at a later date, Apple has now seen fit to discontinue the iPod classic.Īccording to Apple CEO Tim Cook, the iPod classic was discontinued because Apple was no longer able to source the necessary parts from anywhere in the world. As a result, speculation suggested that Apple would continue to sell the iPod classic until it could offer another product option with storage capacity at or near the level of the iPod classic. While the iPod classic sold in low volumes compared to Apple's other iPod products, it has had its devoted fans who appreciated the ability to carry much or all of their music collections with them on the go. Ultimately, however, it was not until 2014 that the iPod classic was finally retired from Apple's lineup. No such games had been added to the store since February 2009, but the complete removal of the games section from the iTunes Store fueled rumors that the iPod classic would soon be discontinued. By September 2011, Apple had removed its click wheel iPod games from the iTunes Store. Back in early 2011, Toshiba introduced a 220 GB 1.8-inch hard drive that could have allowed Apple to increase the capacity of the iPod classic, and tightening supplies very soon after led to speculation that the device could see an update or discontinuation.
